Showed up on Wednesday, July 20, at 11:45 am, 15 minutes after opening. Plenty of free parking, including some in the shade as a buffer to the nearly 100-degree heat. No one at the door, so no cover, no pat-down, and no request for a tip by the girl who usually does the pat-down. Found Shadowcat in the corner (with a girl already, of course) and I settled into a chair one down from him. Gotta say, he looks fantastic, especially after all the cancer-induced trauma his body's been through. I hope I look that good when I'm his age. After a while, RTP joined us. He's a friendly guy with a winning smile, and he definitely seemed to be a hit with the ladies.

Shadowcat will tell you that in terms of attractiveness, it was slim pickings among the girls that day, but frankly, I don't get out much, so it doesn't take a lot for me to have a good time at the high-top tables by the DJ booth at Follies. As the day went on there were dozens of ladies of every ethnicity and body type. Yes, there were quite a few dancers there that I didn't find attractive (it was definitely a B-Team day), but I still managed to get a lot of lap dances from a bunch of girls. Some were better than others, but none were bad (especially at only $10 for full-nude, full-contact dances), and mileage ranged from just OK to over-the-freakin-top-good. After more than three hours of eye candy, handfuls of T's and A's, wet fingers, and having reciprocating feminine hands up my commando shorts, I was more than ready for a VIP. I got one of the two private rooms in the front left corner of the club for $52 to the house and $100 to a cute AA gal (a repeat for me from a previous visit), and we *both* enjoyed our 30 minutes together.

I had to work the next few days in Atlanta, and I explored other clubs at night (see separate reviews, posted recently). I went back to Follies on Sunday afternoon before I had to head out on the road for home a few states away. This time, I was the first one through the door when they opened at 12:50. No charge for parking at that time, but unlike during the week, they do collect a $5.00 cover at opening on Saturdays and Sundays. Walked through the metal detector, got a cursory pat-down by the door girl who asked for a tip, and headed for the high-tops near the DJ booth. I've never gotten there right at opening before, and I was struck by the fact that it wasn't as dark as usual in the club. They must keep the lights up for a little while to give the workers' eyes a chance to get used to the dark. It definitely seemed darker later, but by then my eyes were fully adjusted.
