Pleasanty Surprised

Been interested in this place as its not far from my two go-to spots (Criket and Bogarts), however, after reading reviews it seemed like a waste of time. So along came a Friday night and I had the taste for the SC scene. Was driving down Middlebelt with the intent of going to Bogarts and drove past Henry's. Decided to turn around and give it a try. From previous reviews I recalled being able to get a pass for Bogarts so why not check it out with my own eyes. Glad I did!

Go in, pay the $5 entry fee and first thing that smacks me in the face is smoke. I mean got damn. So where to go to try and get some relief? See some empty spots at the end of the bar in the back w a huge fan blowing air to the front. Figure that will help and it did some but not much. Feels like EVERYBODY is smoking. Dancers, customers, bartenders, security. Fuck. That being said, this is my biggest and only not real nitpicky criticism of the club.

So on to the good stuff. Club is small which is not shocking based on what it looks like from the outside. 3 stages, seats along the bar and back wall, seats below the stages if you want the up close and personal look during stage shows. DJ spins 4 songs before calling a final review. Big improvement in music over Bogarts. Fellas, I get it, you like classic rock or country or whatever rythmless stuff you like but take a min to think what the ladie can actually dance to and it aint that!
