Recon.
Saw Rick's review and since I was in the area though I would stop by and investigate. The location is definitely convenient and in a nice area. The club itself is small since it is housed in an old Burger King. His description of the facilities are accurate. I arrived about 1030 pm on Friday night and pulled into the parking lot along with the other 12-15 cars. The were 3 wannabe security guards standing outside by the door. As I approached the door the guard with the tactical type vest stopped me and asked me for my ID. I pulled it out and held it for him to see. Mind you I am no young pup and from about 3 feet away he is trying to read my ID. I remark to him that "really..do I look underage?".. He then has me put my arms up and pats me down.
I am then cleared to go inside the door. There is a young lady there and standing behind her just inside the door is a guy with a beard, in a golf shirt, with a drink in his had. I recognize him as one of the owners/developers from reading about the place on line. The cover charge was $5.00. I went inside and there were maybe 5 other people and maybe 6 dancers I saw.
There were about 3 black girls, an Asian, and the rest were white. One white girl was about a 7 and was sitting at the bar talking to a guy. I took a lap around the club which didn't take long since it is small. The dances are $30 and I didn't get a beer or drink. I used the bathroom and it accurately described by Rick. The interior is a nice attempted to provide a more upscale look, they could have done more with the outside. My visit lasted maybe 10 minutes. The club has a good location but based on what I saw and the vibe I got, I will be surprised if it succeeds.. would be a shame if it did not..
