Interesting Place

Interesting place. Walking in Times Square on a Sunday evening (10 pm) and guys are giving out free passes to the club. I say what the heck, only a block away let me try this place. I walk in stand in the doorway for about 5 minutes as the bouncer talks to the cashier, after coughing a few times the guy finally turns around. I hand him my free pass and as I walk up the stairs – he says something like you know there is a one drink minimum – I just nod my head in agreement. So, you walk up two short stair cases and come to a set of double doors, another bouncer on the other side of the door. To my left is a round circular bar – one bartender (pretty) and a few dancers sitting at the bar. To my left appears to be a small stage – must be used on very busy nights and to my right seemed like a seating area – maybe to eat food. I was told the food was good by a dancer. Anyways, ordered a water, $12 and tipped the a few bucks to the bartender – she tells me if I walk all the way around the bar I can get to the main room. The main appear appears to be good size, plenty of seats and a couple of bench seats in the back. To my left was a series of curtain rooms – I assume are used for private dances. Funny thing there were only 3 guys in the place, I tried to sit at a table and was told it was taken by a bouncer. LOL Over the course of the evening a few other guys strolled in but in my hour there – I think max customers was about 6. As for the girls, only 7 working – in the 4-6 range. It appears they did 2 or 3 songs sets. Wasn’t really paying much attention. Got dances ($20) a piece for two girls. The first girl was more of let me get a dance so she would move on – chatted me up for quite some time. Told me about the private rooms and “how they can be a lot of Fun” I just smiled. I never heard that line before. The second dancer took me to a bench sit in the back and gave me a few nice dances. The only bad part was I had my hand on her calf at one point and the manager went practical ballistic. Waving and pointing at me that I can’t touch her. At one point I thought he was going to jump over the counter or have a stroke. Anyways, at that point, I just thanked the girl and paid for my dances and knew it was my time to leave. Oh, I did hit the bathroom it was nice and even on such a slow night there was a bathroom troll – he might have been sleeping when I went in and left. The curtain rooms and if the prices for VIP were reasonable it may be worth it, but I would be afraid the over bearing manager would be peaking in every dance or expect a large tip to look the other way. I was told to try back during the week as it is better, maybe one more visit to give the place a chance but only with a FREE pass to get in. Not sure it is worth a $20 cover.
