Lackluster
Arrived to catch up with some friends I hadn't seen in two years, paid $8 cover I believe. Parking was adequate. The layout of the club is a center stage surrounded by a bar, with a couch area to a side that no one used. There's also now an outdoor patio, but I didn't check it out. Lapdances are downstairs in either a communal couch room or the semi-private VIP area; the walk down the treacherous stairs is infamous.
On Wednesdays there are drink specials, and lap dances are two for $30 until midnight. My rum and cokes were $8, and the bartender was attentive throughout the night since I was tipping $2 per; as is common, she was perhaps the hottest woman in the club, lively, and was happy to chat throughout when not fulfilling orders. Drinks started out middling, but she strengthened them later, and also comped me some water toward the end of the night.
Dancers ranged from 4 to 7+ or so, with about half being WOCs. Since the seats are too far from the stage to tip directly, there's a healthy tip parade after each girl's two song set. Most expect $2 per trip, some soliciting $3, which can get annoying when the dancer isn't even attractive or good actually dancing. However, pushes for lap dances are fairly low...which, I wish they would sometimes push a bit more. However, most are happy to take their tips and be on their merry way without any further conversation, which is a bit of a letdown when a girl you might be interested in just breezes by - these girls need to seriously work on their sales skills. Furthermore, the girls who tend to push for dances and extra tips tend to be the less attractive ones - one brunette was especially egregious, and she looked like she was either pregnant or had some kind of abdominal issue (with significant surgical scars).
