Another couples adventure, at the Lido Room

Research, research, research. I'm addicted. And I spent time researching places in NYC in preparation for our upcoming visit. We only had one maybe two nights to go to the SC, so I wanted to go somewhere couples friendly, nice and fun. I looked at all the main-stream clubs, many of them corporate. Some were very close to our hotel, which isn't all that hard in Manhattan. After reading reviews on TUSCL we decided on the Lido Club. The reviews were fascinating and intriguing. I sent an e-mail ahead of time, requesting an invitation and received a response a day later with the time and location of the "secret" events that week.

Apparently, the location changes constantly, so I can only comment on the location we were at in Greenwich Village. There was a $20 cover charge for each of us. The lady at the front was so excited to see a woman guest! The club was a bit sketchy, in the basement where an previous club evidently was. Not the best accommodations, but that's not why we were there. We arrived early, a bit before 9p and took advantage of the 2 for 1 drink specials. Prices were $20 for Ciroc on the rocks. Not a lot of girls, but we knew it was early. We were approached by a dancer, and that's how she described herself. She said she was a professional dancer, and not the exotic type. Regardless of her self described occupation, she was amazing. We went behind the "curtain" (pay no attention to the [couple] behind the curtain) for our dance. There was more contact that we are used to in the Las Vegas clubs we had visited in the past, and we liked it. A couple of dances and we needed a break. More and more girls rolled in and my wife and I eyeballed a cute redhead. My wife went up to her and invited her to sit with us. Wow, even sexier and more amazing than the first girl. We really enjoyed ourselves (again)! Feeling all hot and bothered it was back to our hotel room for a wonderful remainder of the night together. Definitely a different kind of experience for us, something we would recommend.
