Vixens - Not too bad

My wife and I visited Vixen’s on Tuesday, July 12th. I did the usual looking at TUSCL reviews and they seemed to rank pretty high. Their website gave a “gothic” feel, but we decided to at least check it out. By the way, this place is in a rather remote area, surrounded by industrial industry. Not very inviting like Pure Platinum or the former Solid Gold in Ft. Lauderdale. The parking lot wasn’t very full at 10 pm, so we self-parked near the entrance and paid the $2 parking (what an embarrassment for them) vs. the $10 valet. The club, and building, are fairly new. The building is spacious, etc, etc. The performers are okay; not on the same level as Tootsies, for example. However, they are reasonably friendly and approached us in a polite way, not pushy. We did a couple of semi-private room dances. The first one was very nice and my wife, who is the primary recipient of the attention, enjoyed it quite a bit. The second one was with an equally attractive girl, but she was gabby. Even tried to dissuade her from talking, but to no avail. We bailed after two songs. I’m not sure we would visit this club again, unless we had some other plans to be nearby (like drinking at the nearby Twin Peaks). As we left, my wife said she had a good time, and that’s what matters most to me, if you get my drift.
