Decent Spot, Nice Girls

This isn't the best club in the Research Triangle Park, but Capital Cabaret is a solid club and offers the supreme convenience of its proximity to the RDU airport and the attendant hotels. People staying or living in Raleigh or Durham proper probably shouldn't trek their way out to this club on a commercial road near the airport, but anyone staying in the area will find a good enough time to make it unnecessary for them to wander farther afield. The club itself has an inviting exterior, and is well appointed inside. It's modestly-sized interior is well-suited for the size of crowd it generally draws, though it can get somewhat full on Friday or Saturday nights. The club offers seating in a strip in front of its single stage, a collection of chairs around tables, and then a row of seats at the single bar. The bartenders tend to be polite and offer heavy pours to those who tip decently.

The girls vary in appearance from the modestly attractive to the fairly good-looking, though, as always, these things depend on your personal taste, with the girls tending to a more natural build. In general, about a third will be black, with the rest mostly being white, with possibly a Hispanic girl in the mix. The girls vary in attitude as well, though it would be unusual to be aggressively pushed for a dance. The more casual will approach, engage in conversation, and then eventually feel out the possibility of a private dance. The more businesslike won't assert undue pressure, but may approach, bluntly inquire whether you're interested in a dance, then leave if you don't immediately agree. Similarly, the girls vary in the intimacy of their dance, even in the more private areas on the second floor. It should be noted that the rooms on the first floor, for dance lengths denominated in the number of songs (typically one or two), are open booths in a row. On the second floor, for dance lengths denominated in multiples of fifteen minutes, the areas are more private, divided from each other by walls, but merely separated from the hallway by a bead curtain, through which bouncers will eye on the proceedings every few minutes. Some girls may feel their customer through their clothing, but even that prompts them to keep an eye on the door.

In total, the club is well suited to those interested in a few stiff drinks accompanied by some light conversation with the friendlier girls, and perhaps some teasing from someone who strikes your fancy. Those looking for a more personally intense experience should look elsewhere.
