Wellington's 'premiere' club??

As a likely lad, looking to see what the ladies of Wellington have to offer these day, I thought it would be worthwhile to pop into "Mermaids", after a couple of years away from the place.

Although Wellington has 4-5 options for stripclubs, I have always thought that Mermaids has the best mix of New Zealand chicks (Kiwis) and foreign talent. Hence was biase towards this venue joint. As I write, it is about $1 NZ to 71 cents US, so North Americans can do well with the exchange rate.

The drinks were on average $8-$9 for your standard type beers, $11-$12 for liquor ('spirits' as we call them here). The girls were talkative and flirty, but perhaps a little over-pushy with the standard "do you want a private dance?" type questions. Flicked a few 'Mermaid Dollars' around (we don't have $1 notes here in NZ, only coins), saw a variety of ladies' goodies, which they seemed eager to reveal. Plenty of seats close to the stage, with some good lighting for a SC, got to see the ladies 'warts and all' (figure of speech of course).
