The Mecca
This was my first time visiting a strip club outside the US and especially since it was in Mexico I must admit that I felt somewhat nervous. After a short trip from the border I got dropped off at HK. There's was a small cover to get in but you get a "free drink" with that cover. As soon as I walked in, my jaw dropped. I've been to plenty of clubs in the US, but never have seen anything quite like HK. The club was larger and more extravagant than I expected (it has a nice upscale feel to it, comparable with top clubs in the US), and there were beautiful women -- literally -- everywhere. There were a number of stages winding throughout the club and there was a parade of women dancing fully nude around poles, shaking it on the stage floors and even performing acts with other women.
It's definitely overwhelming at first, and since I came alone, my first goal was to find an empty table to sit down at. As you walk through the club, you can basically sense that you have your choice of any woman there. Some girls are more polite and will either just smile at you or rub up against you awaiting reciprocity, while others will be slightly more aggressive in their approach. There's not a ton of English spoken, but a number of girls did make the effort, and combined with hand gestures you can communicate fairly well (though, don't expect to have any meaningful conversation if you don't speak Spanish).
As other reviews have noted, the experience at HK is whatever you want to make of it. If you just wanted to watch, you can certainly do that (although you will be approached). From what a fellow tourist told me, the approach is to find a girl you like, buy her a drink for ~$10 and check her out (during which time you can pretty much touch her as much as you want). Dances run around ~$20 and there's an adjacent hotel where you can get FS for $70-$100 all in.
