Second try at a wann'a be club.

After a long day in academic conferences I found myself heading towards the Westside of the Detroit metro area. I could have gone to any number of the eastside clubs but I wasn't loaded enough for that kind of fun. I was going to go the Criket but I remembered that it was Wednesday and my current fav only works on T+Th. Not wanting the Criket drama or the Bogart's filth I thought I would give the Playhouse a second chance (Previous review below). This club has pretensions of glory and it sort of feels like a stage show waiting to open. It costs six dollars (w/o tip) to park. The parking lot is only ten feet away from the door so this seems silly. This place is in the middle of nowhere so security is not an issue either. I was the only custie at that hour and I was made to feel welcome. There were five girls there three white ,two A/A. All of them 5-7 with one blonde spinner with a tight body and a good attitude. I asked her over and she proceeded to have two shots of tequila (11.75 each). This led to the V.I.P area which has nice benches and flimsy curtains. There is a $10 toll to enter the V.I.P each time. I was told that dances are $25.00 each. I would say that I spent less than usual in V.I.P. and I got less than I usually do. it ultimately was like a hot teenage make out session. Very GFE and kinda' fun. I was personally thanked by the manager/bouncer and invited back. This club is literally out in the fields near the airport so it feels odd to be treated like you are in a urban club. There was no tip out to use the bathroom but otherwise it had all the usual nickel and diming and high charges. This, and a laissez-faire attitude towards smoking, will keep me from being a regular but it was fun to be appreciated. The manger told me that will be upgrading the V.I.P. booths with more substantial curtains and better lighting. This place is a work in progress and with a few more girls and a little less pretension it could work.
