L&L Uni

So driving around Charlotte because of my usual bout of insomnia. I hadn't been to L&L for a while so I thought I'd drop by for a visit. For those who don't know, L&L is on N Tryon south before the Waffle House and the turnoff for 85. It can be hectic to get in there with all the construction going on with the light rail. It sits back from the road in a smallish building surrounded by an unfinished parking lot. Most of the parking cannot be seen from the road; it helps that it's on a heavy traffic street like N Tryon if you don't want your car seen.

Inside the club, you're greeted by the girl and there's often a manager / bouncer up front with her but not always. Have to pay a membership fee and show ID. I got around this by saying there's no way and I'm showing my ID, but if I cause a problem, I'd be more than happy to show it. That was enough to get me in that night.

One main stage surrounded by chairs. Bathrooms in the back right. VIP "room" in the back left. The VIP are some cushy chairs with a half wall surrounding right outside the girls' dressing room. There's always some manager or other guy peeking in.
