Wow!

Hadn't been to Flamingo Showgirls in a long time but was looking for an alternative to the high mileage clubs in COI and Upland. Based on my latest visit I think I've found one that gives them a run for their money. I arrived around 12:30 AM on a Monday night. The place was a ghost town, maybe 5-6 patrons and about as many dancers. In spite of that, the dancer quality was better than I expected. There was one 9, and two 7's, any of which I would have happily gotten dances from. As it turns out, the '9' only did VIP's. Her pitch was straightforward, high value, and fairly priced. So, I decided to forego the laps. The VIP experience was everything promised and then some. Definitely will go back to do it again with S******y.

Now, the downsides. Even with the "free" coupon you're $15 in the door at night. So know that going in. That includes a $10 drink minimum. If you want your drink to be bottled water it's extra. I had tap water for my included drink. I asked for a refill and the waitress said that normally refills are $3 but she would give it to me for free. Mind you I tipped her when she brought the water and on the refill. I also bought one dancer that was giving me a welcome handshake as part of a VIP pitch a drink when offered two free admissions for a future time with the purchase. Also, the pressure to buy the dancer a drink is relentless. You're asked for everyone that sits down with you even if you have zero interest in them and are trying politely to discourage them from sitting. You get that even when you do buy one mistakenly thinking that buying one will make them back off. Finally, with that few dancers and customers stage shows were intermittent. I think I saw 3 sets in my 45 minutes or so. These downsides aside, I'll definitely return soon to see if the experience is repeatable.
