Very small but decent
I went to Sands a few months ago with a friend. It is pretty small and "cozy" but almost too cozy for my liking as far as other customers go. It was pretty much dead on a Friday night and good thing they have an actual bar next door. We parked on the street and went into the bar to have a drink before heading over. We walked in and got greeted and seated by the very small stage and ordered our minimum drink order, which i believe was 2. The place seemed almost awkwardly silent and there was only 2 or 3 other guys in there. The pool table is a nice touch but probably annoying for the dancers, especially on slow nights. You shouldn't go to a strip club to play pool and oogle the girls at least without tipping or paying for them to play pool with you lol! However I found myself rather bored and after not being approached by any dancers, me and my buddy played a game of pool before returning to the seating area lol. I asked to buy a girl a drink on the way back and she said no! I'm not a creep, I dress clean and am not hideous or anything. Maybe she had another customer somewhere? Anyways the place is small, the music was mixed and good, the lighting was good but the stage is tiny. Obviously not a very stage orientated place which is what I wanted to see as well as a few private dances. But the place isn't bad, just awkward in my opinion. Maybe it was because it was dead on a Friday night..
The dancers and staff.. The hostess was friendly, the bartender was friendly and the dancers seemed unapproachable.. Only one came to sit with us and I bought her a drink and chatted with us for a few minutes. She was really friendly and beautiful. She looked mixed or black. I wanted to buy a dance and as soon as I was about to ask for one, she got up and said she had a regular to get too.. Ok. Lol. Not sure why it seemed like no one wanted to chat or dance for us. We weren't rude, disrespectful, asking personal questions we all know they lie about, and we didn't stink. At least I don't think so.. I have never had that problem before though. I tip and know the drill. It was just weird. We didn't stay long but the few dancers I seen on stage and a few I seen walking around or standing by the bar checking their phones and turning down potential customers were pretty good looking at least. I didn't feel like they were all on meth and giving $20 "extras" or anything. Seattle is horrible for strip clubs so I wasn't surprised the dancers didn't seem into it. Overall I would have rated the dancers higher if the personalities matched the looks. Not a terrible place and I'm sure we caught it on an off night but I'm glad the bar was next door, so at least we could drink while we felt like losers having money to spend and strippers ignoring us....lol
