First trip to TL

I was visiting from out-of-state for a wedding, and saw that Tropical Lei was fairly close to my hotel, so I decided to check it out. I arrived on a Sunday afternoon at around 1:30. The parking lot was packed, so I figured the club would be swinging when I got in. The guy at the door wanded me down, explained that it would be $15 cover and no alcohol, I would need to buy at least one drink an hour, and that there were only two girls on duty, but more were expected soon. When I got in, I was the only customer. I asked the door guy about this as I was leaving, and he told me that the owner also owns the marijuana dispensary next door, and that Sunday is a very popular day to toke up, which is why the lot was full.

Once my eyes adjusted to the darkness, I took a seat near the stage, and watched... nothing. The stage was empty. The club seemed nice; no obvious damage, everything was in good shape, everyone was friendly. They were playing low-key electronic music, which was perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon. A waitress came by and got me a water for $8, and after a few minutes, the two dancers came out to the floor. Both dancers, along with a third that arrived later, were curvy Latin brunettes with large bolt-ons. Dana came and sat with me for a while, and we had a nice chat. The waitress came by and asked if I would like to buy her a drink; I know I shouldn't, but she was talking to me for a while, and was very friendly, so I got her a Sprite for $6. I declined to get a dance immediately, and asked her to come back and check on me later.

I eventually got dances with all three ladies that I saw: Dana, Cassandra, and Luscious. I opted for the $20 topless dances. $40 full nude dances and $120 VIP room were also available. The dance area that I was taken to is perhaps the tallest that I have ever experienced; I am about 6 feet tall, and my feet dangles about a foot above the floor. All three dances were very good; my hands were allowed to roam freely, while there was plenty of over-the-shorts rubbing going on. One dancer took my hand and moved it to her panties. All three tried to upsell to VIP; two of them were vague about what goes on, but Luscious spelled it out pretty explicitly that extras were available and encouraged. None were really my type, so I didn't get VIP. A fourth danced, Ally, was announced while I was getting a dance, but I never had a chance to see her, as she disappeared to the back by the time I was done. The drink hustle was kind of annoying; the waitress was pretty persistent each time a new girl sat with me, and even asked me to buy a drink as we were starting a dance. Not cool.

Overall, I had a reasonable time. I would have liked to check it out at night when it gets busier, but sadly, I have returned to my home state. Would return if I am ever in the area again
