18+, $20 cover, Cheap beer

The first thing that immediately took me by surprise at Molly's was that 18-20 year olds are admitted. This is the only SC in the Daytona area that this is true of. I've been to all 7 and most of the rest have "No Under 21" signage, or it's otherwise clear. I'm in my twenties, so they stamped my hand. But what left me more perplexed in retrospect is why it's not prominently displayed on their website! *begin rant* Not even a mention. All of Daytona's clubs could use some real help in the advertising department. Getting a decent website AND a regularly updated FB page AND filling out profiles on review websites and forums that regularly pop up in Google. Daytona is a low-end

tourist destination after all! *end rant*

So this is all before I walk in, right? The club isn't the biggest, but it's very open. two story ceilings with balcony on 3 sides. The lighting is on the brighter side. The stage is fairly large and nearer the wall facing Seabreeze. The bar is opposite the stage, with the DJ on the 2nd story directly above. Looking at the stage, on the left side, up the stairway is where the locker room is. To the right, on the ground floor is the dance room, with the VIP on the 2nd floor directly above.

There are only a handful of tables, didn't count but not more than 8-10, filling in the space around the stage, but with chairs on all sides of the stage. Personally I dislike this. I'd rather chill at a table. In fact I did with one woman for a while, but there are 4 chairs to a table, so it's awkward taking up one when there aren't many. But on the flip side, guys are sitting around the stage not tipping and everyone seems to understand they're just sitting there, until they wave dollar bills.
