Impressive

Made my first trip to HK. Took the trolley to the border, walked into Mexico quickly and easily with my passport, and grabbed one of the yellow taxis. Had to pay $10 for taxi to the club, but was able to find one for only $5 on the return trip. Highly recommend the taxi. No idea how to do that walk and it seemed pretty far. It was my first trip to Tijuana and I felt safe the entire time, although I didn't venture away from the club.

Entered the club late afternoon on a Friday and did not have to pay a cover charge. HK was bigger than I expected and nicer than I expected too. It was several levels. 4 floors maybe? It might have been 3. Don't remember. It was pretty well lit, clean, and pretty busy, but not overly crowded. There were probably about 35 to 50 dancers working and about an equal number of customers. I read that it gets overly crowded, but that must be later at night. I liked that it was busy, but not wall to wall people. The first floor was pretty crowded, but the upper levels were almost completely empty.

The waiters (meseros?) kept asking if I wanted a table or drink, but I said "no, gracias", while I walked around for 15 minutes scouting out the club, getting acclimated, and scouting out the dancers. I'm picky, but found a few that I liked. Overall I would say that the talent level was on par with what you would find at one of the better clubs in the U.S.
