Another Ghost Town

I've tried this location in a number of its past versions: Shenanigans, Hush, LaPerla, and now Red Tie. While now quite nice in a physical sense, if they don't get some decent staffing I think this place will remain the Elephants' Graveyard of LA strip clubs. I visited on two early afternoons (they theoretically open at noon): one time not a single dancer in the house at 1:30 pm (at least the bouncer/door man told me) and next time only 1 girl at 1 PM. Wisely, they sent that girl out to the parking lot to chase me down after I reacted to that news by not entering: she (Lauren, also the bartender) was attractive and sold me on coming inside. Gave me free admission, with $6 or $8 drink. Interior mostly still like it was during the LaPerla era: Spearmint Rhino spent some good money on marble, brass, wood and cut glass, and it is quite nice and classy inside. Smallish stage in middle of room, with a pole. Seats at rail, various other seating areas behind. Banks of separate lap dance booths along walls, behind a divider wall but no curtains or doors. VIP room a complete joke (as it always has been here); just a big room with a bunch of couches, open to view from other couches and from entry doorway, and brightly lit. So no privacy at all. At least Shenanigans had booths with dividers facing away from each other, with 4' walls; a contortionist like the retired Ardyce could figure out how to get something worthwhile done in there. No chance now. So Lauren chatted me up for a while (couldn't dance until another girl got in house), then finally took the stage and showed off a fine young athletic body (with small pert naturals) to go with her Midwest-ish fresh faced, strawberry blonde white girl look. Good pole dancing too. Though I had a feeling of LM, I took her back for some regular topless $20s then a nude $30. My mileage radar was right on. FZ north, flybys south, good grind; but nothing else happening. At least she was attractive. Other dancer was a thick Colombian MILF named CeCe, with some big D cups and a round ass. Probably better mileage, but not my type so I passed. An hour in and no other girls there or on way. Pretty lame. This club could be worthwhile in a straight Gentlemen's Club way -- a place to take business associates -- since it is so physically nice, IF they could get some attractive girls to work there. But it will never draw mileage-seeking mongers like me as there is just no possibility of privacy in that VIP room. I think city codes prevent adding interior walls if they weren't there before, so club may be screwed in trying to remodel. Oh well.
