sinclair's Review

I went to the Spearmint Rhino around 19:00 on a Saturday evening. Parking is beyond the building and the neighborhood looked to be blue collar, but not dangerous. There was no cover charge. The interior was what you’d expect of a Spearmint Rhino: updated furnishings, private dance areas around the outside, and a central island stage. The fairly large stage had one spinning pole at its center. There are eight bar stools and six video slot machines between the entrance and the bar. When I entered, most of the patrons inside were young Mexican guys glued to the gambling machines. It seems a stage rotation did not get going until after 20:00. Bottles of domestic beer were $3 and domestic pints were $2. I am not sure if this was these were the Happy Hour (16:00-19:00 daily) prices or the regular prices. The bartender was friendly and the club appeared to be clean.
