Cheetah 1st time

I was in South Florida last month and took the opportunity to try some of the local clubs. After two nights at Doral, I got a room in North Ft Lauderdale for Saturday night so I could tour the Pompano Clubs. Headed out around 5:00 PM and set my GPS with a first stop at Cheetahs. The road in front of the club was shut down and traffic was detoured through a residential neighborhood. I thought this might have affected the club, but it didn't. The parking lot was almost full.

Paid $2 for parking to the guy out front. Inside the door, a counter girl waved me in without cover because it was before 7:00. As you leave the foyer going into the main club, you have to run a gauntlet to get in. There is a relatively narrow space between the wall and a very large main bar that was crowed with management types, bouncers, and dancers. Once I cleared this logjam, the over all club is fairly spacious. There were a ton of patrons all around the main bar making it hard to get a seat or a drink, but there is a smaller bar in the back corner that served up the drinks quickly. Very generous pour gin & tonics were like $10 bucks with tip. No complaints there.

The club has 4 stages going. One is in the middle of the large main bar, another is in front of the satellite bar on the right side in the back, across from that is the main stage that has 2 dancers on it, and then further to the left is another small stage.
