We visited Cheetahs in the afternoon...
We visited Cheetahs in the afternoon on a friday. Everyone stresses in everything I have read about Cheetah's that it is a day shift place. It is stressed heavily and i got to see why. For one, the parking lot was packed. I have been to a fair amount of clubs during he day shift and I don't recall seeing a packed parking lot before. We did luck into a space right up front and we headed in.
The physicalities of the club itself were very plain. Having spent several days in Vegas, I was becoming accustumed to the insanely large, over-the-top Roman Pillars style of clubs. This average, every-day look and feel was somewhat out of place, which is odd when you consider it. Still, it was not unpleasant with a main stage to the right as you come in and a bar to the left and the whole thing being no larger than your typical bar. Again, surprisingly, there was a problem finding seats. We had to wander the bar aimlessly for about 20 minutes before a couple of seats opened up.
After the big, impersonal clubs, the neighborhood feel of Cheetahs was a welcome relief. There were every type of guy from the businessman to the construction worker and most seemed to be enjoying buckets of beer (probably a special.) There was also a vast number of girls, much more than the usual day shift. These girls were average for Vegas, which is, to say, very hot. 7-9s as a rule with the odd 10 wandering by. The very first girl who sat with us turned out to be the best in the bar, which is always frustrating because you pass on her to check out the talent and then have to wait like an idiot once you realize she is the pinnacle. Still, she came back as promised and we had a VERY good time with her.
