Lots of Choice

The Brass Rail was highly touted and I was in town for dinner without any real plan afterwards. So, I made my way over and walked in to the bar area, which is basically right in front of you when you walk in. Everyone was easy to talk to and find information out about the place. Bartenders were pretty helpful with some tips about how to navigate. The drinks and beer prices were reasonable but the decor and stage area left a lot to be desired. The tables were very small and chairs were steel with a pad on the seat and the back. So, not designed for being there over a long period of time. The stage runs most of the length on the right hand side and has a couple of poles with one to two dancers at a time or working. You can sit right next to the stage without any difficulty. There were a couple of waitresses constantly circling and making sure you had everything that you needed. So, overall it was a solid basic place riding on its long reputation as a tourist destination.

The dancers came from the back onto the main floor and walked through the table area to check out the visiting area. The girls were all very friendly and took time to sit down and get to know me. After about 10 minutes, we're looking for a decision about going with them for a private dance. After flirting with about 4 or 5 girls, I finally decided to take one up on the offer and went into the private dance area. On the ground floor, that area is directly in back of the bar and setup like u-shaped area with small boobs separated by a small partition next to each other. There were about 15 different booths that could be used.

The dance can be dictated by the girl. So you're allowed to do whatever they allow you to do. They charge by the song and it's about $10 each. There is plenty of room in the booths to move around. One thing my girl explained to me is that all the girls are they're on a contract basis. What that means is they pay the club $60 to work there that night. Whatever they get from the customers is mostly theirs. I had a really good time with a fit tall blonde name Shayna. She had a great personality and great conversation in between dances so we could both rest. She understood my reason for moving on and wished me well. She did come back later on to check in with me and see if I planned to stay later. I did not take her up on the offer.

I was interested in some variety and didn't spend much more than about an hour with her. So back to the main area and more girls and never saw the same one twice continue to come out from the back room. There's also an option to go upstairs with a cover charge to their VIP floor. There's more private areas for higher-priced dance time with any of the girls. I did not go upstairs that night but would like to try the next time I return.

I would recommend the club for anyone new to the scene in Toronto, but not planning to make an entire evening of the trip. There's a pretty big tourist Factor there and the girls understand that most of their customers will not be regulars. However they were always looking for that kind of a situation...
