After months of procrastination, I finally decided to see what all the hubbub over the world's most oddly named strip club is about. After navigating my way through a vocal dispute between a club bouncer and an inebriated homeless dude (I think the bouncer was giving passionate defense of Janet Yellen's monetary policy, while the homeless dude felt she had kept interest rates too low for too long), I made my way into the club and took a seat at the one of the few unoccupied tables near the front.

During my 90 minute stay, I was struck by two things:

1) This facility was not designed to be strip club. The layout is narrow and somewhat deep. It's very difficult to see what's going on behind the first 20 feet. There's a bar on the right toward the back next to the main stage and a couple of satellite stages closer to the front. The hallway-like layout makes the Rhino seem crowded even if there are under 100 customers in attendance (which was the case this night). Poor sight lines seem like a bad feature for a place that's supposed to be a visual experience.
