1st time at Palomino

Was in LV for business and pleasure. Had some time on my last evening in town and thought I'd try Palomino for the first time. Took a taxi from my strip hotel for about $30. Got to the club and paid the door fee. Found my way to a table near the main stage and a dancer stopped by immediately and wanted to know if she could join me. I said OK, but she started in on the "wanna dance" right away and I didn't even have a beer yet. Ushered her away so I could get the lay of the land and check out the dancers. In general, the dancers were 6s and 7s with a couple 8s. Dancers stopped by frequently and typically wanted to sit in my lap and chat. Eventually, they all ask if I'd like a dance. VIP curtained rooms are upstairs for $100 for 3 songs as I recall. I took a few different dancers up there, but the dances were really quite lame. One tried upselling as soon as we got behind curtains with no promise of anything specific -- I've heard this before and declined. She gave me an uninspiring air dance. I was bored out of my mind. As soon as the time was up I was out of the booth. She wanted a tip, I said noway. After 3 attempts in the VIP with only light contact I decided to cut my losses and leave. The music is classic rock and to the credit of the dancers they are not overly pushy like the typical clubs in Las Vegas (Sapphires, Spearmint Rhino, Treasures, etc...). Despite the mediocre time, I'd go back again just because I liked the vibe of the club. You're not going to find any stunners like you will at the other popular clubs, but there are some decent looking dancers and they do get nude. I was there in the early evening (8:00 to 10:00) and it was not busy, but I was told it can get really busy and they usually expect a bigger crowd around midnight.
