Visited: Friday Evening

I decided to make a return trip to the middle of nowhere to visit this club. I've visited the club twice in the last two years, as it's gone downhill since I started going there in 2010. I heard it was even better before that, but I wasn't in the area.

I'll relate a quick story from my younger days in order to explain the area and club more effectively. I saw David Letterman one night many years ago, and a caller from Hazleton, PA was on the line. Hazleton is the largest city that is close to Beavers. Letterman asked the caller "Where is Hazleton?" The caller responded "About 15 years behind." That's how I feel about this club. It's in the lower tier compared to the other options available in the area, and it's location doesn't help.

That's not to say that it's a bad place or that you shouldn't visit. It's hit and miss just like any other club, and my visit on Friday June 23rd was decent. Cover is $10 during the week, $12 on the weekends. Nothing has changed on the exterior, the parking lot is still a bear to manage and the only change I noticed on the inside was an entirely new set of chairs. The old chairs, with their backs tilted back like a lounge chair due to the repeated dancer to customer interactions are no more. They've been replaced with chairs with red pads that look like they came directly from a lounge or casino, but they are definitely more comfortable.
