Changes Afoot

I hit Blue Zebra irregularly; my success ratio there just has not been that great. But some good scores in past keep me trying again. As the step-child cousin of Spearmint Rhino, once in a while you get Rhino-quality lookers who want to ply the minor league and scoop up all the business. Mostly you get MILFs who have aged out of the Rhino main floor, but who can still look good and who know the game. And some too-skanky for Rhino newbies; but nothing wrong with a willing skank, I say! Physically club hasn't changed for years: central stage, no rail (and dancers kick over drinks put on stage with shocking regularity), numerous bench couches and cocktail table chair set-ups. Many cubby holes, and fairly private lap dance cubicles. VIP is separate room with open but fairly isolated cubicles and bright lighting -- though always a good sign when your dancer's first move is to redirect lights to provide cover of darkness! Recent bad management changes are: imposition of a daytime cover/entrance fee ($10), elimination of most of the old daily VIP specials, persistence of understaffing the waitress position so you can't get your mandatory $5 drink when you want it, dancer drink push, new "pay for VIP first at the bar" rule, etc. Some departures of veteran dancers; probably indicates they make less money under new rules. VIP dances now mostly 15-20 minutes for $120 (supposed to be 20, but may get cut short); one day had 3-for $75s but think that's gone away. Dancer quality remains fairly good, IMO. On last couple of visits, saw & danced with the following: Nadia, a small Latina spinner with a pretty face and good convo, but only middling mileage; Angelique, a lean Latina with a really good body and a dirty manner; Dinah, a Latina MILF-type with big D naturals, an aggressive manner and a great VIP; Sasha, a South African black with a stunning thin body, long braided hair, and a sensual dance; Diamond, a DD+ chubby (not my type) but a fairly nice girl and probably a good dance (didn't try her); Raylene, a white, well-spoken Midwest-type with a pretty face and hair, nice C boobs, and a minor amount of fat that produces a soft, curvy voluptuous look/feel -- which is all nice but her dance was underwhelming (and she talked too damn much about non-sex stuff during it); an attractive tall white Sydney, who I did not get a chance to try; "butterface" (but what a body!) MILF Samantha, who really needs to dye the carpet to match the drapes but who provided an A+ VIP dance. A few others around after 3:30 or so; club often opens late (says 1 but often 2-2:30 before more than 2 dancers in the house); but desk guy will tell you how many in house and who, so that is cool. (Probably until management reads this and tells him to just get the suckers inside instead!) This club is sort of an acquired taste I guess; but if you find a dancer you like, it can be a good time for a reasonable price.
