Good time

I was in New Orleans for four days at a conference and had already made the very rare decision not to visit any strip clubs. I knew from previous experience and reviews here that the clubs downtown are over-priced tourist traps. But still, I just couldn't be in a big city without hitting up a club, and I saw just enough in the reviews here that made me think a cab ride out to Passions might be worthwhile.

I got there shortly after it opened at 9 p.m. Immediately I could see it looked like my kind of place, sort of run down and out of the way. I go in and pay a $10 cover, and am directed to some stairs to the upper floor. I like this because it makes be feel like I am heading up into some kind of secret speakeasy. I walk in and the place is mostly empty, but it piques my interest quite a bit. It is a long narrow room with a wooden floor and two long stages surrounded by stools that look like mechanic's stools. I go to the bar and get a drink and immediately a young black girl approaches in a very friendly way. I buy her and myself a drink and that is enough for her to get very affectionate. We move over toward a wall by the stage and she starts rubbing against me. I ask her how much a dance is and she said I could just tip, and that's what we did for about a hour and half, with some breaks in between. She invited a friend over who danced for me as well. They were very sweet girls and didn't come off as money grubbers at all. I felt like I was just having a good time at a party with a couple of fun girls. I didn't ended spending about $200 on them, but I don't regret that at all. There is no smoking in bars in New Orleans, so they went down stairs to smoke, but before they went one of them fetched another girl to keep me company. Oh man, I loved that girl. She was a soft, sweet New Orleans native with a sexy accent. Her name was Peaches. The first girl to approach me was Peanut. I hate I can't remember the other girl's name, but if you find Peanut you will probably find her. It was something like Deedee but I don't think that's it. She was a cute, petite girl with a really sweet nature. I don't know when I will ever get back to New Orleans but Passions will definitely be on the itinerary.
