The Vue

I have never been a big fan of Vue or Calendar Girls, but I had some spare time and was in the area so, why not? Sat at the long bar along the west wall and had a beer, which I was happy to find was only 2.50. Looking around, there were 5 girls visible, a slim blonde on stage, another with two guys against the far wall, and the other three were all with one guy! Another girl walked in, and joined the three with the one guy. He must have been Super Shlong or Mr. Bigbux! Meanwhile, there were 5 guys, including myself, doing nothing but sucking on our beer bottles. Oh well, I could watch soccer on tv! Finally, the girl who was dancing came over and sat with me. She was very attractive, mid 30's, slim and blonde. She went to the buffet and got herself some beef and rice, and said it was really good, so I got some too. Not bad! She said she had only been at Vue less than 3 months, and had only been dancing for that much time. I was skeptical, but we had a nice convo while we ate. She made a pitch for the VIP room--$80 for 15 minutes and extras were available for an additional tip, up to a full menu for another $70. Having just stopped in on a whim, I was only able to come up with the room fee, but not the tip money, so I said my bank was nearby and I would see about the ATM, but as it turned out, I was running late and had to leave. I have to say, the place has improved, more and better looking dancers, so I will be back.
