Old strip club still in operation
La Chambre as noted by other is in a strip mall. The church they mention is far enough away not to be a problem. LOL. It's not super fancy, it's been updated. I walk in on a very hot Detroit day and the AC feels good. About 9 TV's are around the room, so if you feel like watching sports, no problem. I took a seat at the bar and was immediately approached by a thick blonde with large breasts. I tell her that I need to adjust to the darkness and catch me later. My regular beer is $6, I don't know if that's a Happy Hour price or normal, but that ain't bad. Looking into the beer cooler in front of me, I note approximately 30 beers to choose from. Watching the women dance on the 14' x 12' stage with a runway on either side, I note that most of this day's dancers are thick. Papi_Chulo, I think we have a club for you. Out of the 8 plus dancers I saw, 6 were thick. La Chambre used to have many more slender dancers in the past. The VIP area is at the front of the club, no VIP cover charge, but you must buy 2 drinks before entering. Dances are $20, and as I'm watching the stage show and a replay of last night's Tiger baseball game, this very pretty, young black dancer walks by. I like what I see and when she eventually walks up to me, we start talking and we end up back in the VIP room. It's fairly dark back there, no booths but a number of tables in nooks to get dances. She starts dancing. Mr. Happy gets happy and things progress. We didn't do the deed, but I left very satisfied. Just like old times, it's a unfancy place where high mileage is gotten.
