Quintessential Neighborhood Dive...that's good!
I was in Phoenix for business and found myself west of downtown. After dinner I found this club using TUSCL.net not too far from my restaurant. This was a pleasant find!
It's a dive bar in all sense of the phrase. Small, dark, narrow, with a bar to the left and a secondary stage and the main stage in the back room. At the back end, behind the stage is the "VIP" area, just a set of sofas against the wall. Bandaids was fairly crowded for a Wednesday night. I got a few dances from three girls. One a bit older looking bit with a tight body and a friendly albeit slightly pushy attitude and one Cubana. The second dancer was younger but far more adventurous. Since I was from out of town and didn't know what was allowed so I kept my hands to myself both times.
The music and beer prices were standard for a dive club. Some hip-hop, some Southern rock, and nothing really special.
