Dead zone

If you're not an 'after hours' patron, Show Palace is a mixed bag. I've gone a few times before midnight, as I did on this visit, and each time it's been the same--nearly empty of customers. This visit, at 10pm, was the sparsely yet. There were a couple of businessmen, a couple of guys who looked like college students, and me. I took a seat between the two stages--only one of which was being occupied by a cute, but mostly clothed dancer who was languidly strolling from pole to pole, making at most gestures at actually dancing. I ordered my non-alcoholic drink (the price you pay in NY for a fully nude club) and started to wonder why I was there. But then I took a look around the room and remembered why. There were a half dozen girls scattered around the room, playing with the phones, all of whom ranged from cute to fucking hot. What's more, as usual, more than a couple of them were the kind of slim thick ebonies and Latinas I tend to like. It's a pretty unusual mix for NYC.

As in the past, the lack of customers made it easy to get the attention of the cutest black dancer in the club. She came over, sat down, and introduced herself as Jasmine, and said she was a student at Smith College. I was a little skeptical of that, but she went on to hold her own in a conversation about economics and finance that was intelligent enough to convince me. Not exactly the first thing you come to a strip club for, but it is kinda fun to talk econ with a hot girl who has her hand on your thigh the whole time.

Eventually, I acceded to a lapdance with her on the side of main room. Given the lack of customers, it was pretty private. I don't know whether it would have felt that way if the club were more crowded (I'm told it tends to get hopping at around 2am). There are very nice, and fully private, VIP rooms at the club--I had a very enjoyable, very hands-on session there once with a tall, aggressively sexy ebony girl once that was well worth the expense. Unfortunately, while Jasmine had a beautiful young body, her dance skills didn't inspire confidence that a session with her would be nearly as naughty. Oh well.
