More like a regular club

Went to Deja Vu Friday night/Saturday morning around 3 am when I should have been heading home. But, I was at another bar and a couple of really cute bartenders from Deja Vu were picking up food and told me I should check it out. There was no cover at that time and I was surprised at how crowded the club was. It was packed with customers. Seating and the stage is on the left when you come in and the bar is on the right. The crowd was all around the stage sitting, standing, dancing, etc. The girl on stage was doing some pretty good pole tricks and getting a lot of ooh's and ah's. I grabbed a seat at the bar so I could talk to the bartenders and try to figure the place out. The bar was not busy at that point because everyone was over by the stage. (One interesting thing was that the bartenders were measuring the booze using a jigger when pouring drinks. So the drinks did not look as strong for the buck. I drank beers which were 7 or 8 bucks.) After a little while, I got approached by a couple of dancers. They were cute, but not to my taste, so I declined. There was some "But I'll give you a real good time." They were all intent on going upstairs, but I think that is where all the lap dances take place as I didn't at least see any on the floor. I did eventually go upstairs with a cute dancer who came on pretty strong. It was so dark upstairs, I am not really sure of the layout. She paid the VIP host, and we went to a booth. The mileage was nowhere near what was promised and the front of the booth was open, so there was no real privacy. I did like the club more than I expected mainly because of the atmosphere. The crowd was really upbeat. It was much more a regular club atmosphere than a strip club atmosphere which are lower key. I did not expect much in the way of the dancers here based on some conversations I have had with buddies in the past, but most of the girls I saw were 6-7. The talent level wasn't in the same league as Penthouse, but it was acceptable. All in all, I'm going to check it out on another night and see if this atmosphere was an aberration or a regular thing.
