In between shifts. Meh.

Well, I've visited the Blue in the past during the day (usually good) and on a crowded Saturday night (way too busy for my liking). This time, it was at about 7:00pm on a Friday and it was apparently between shifts. My friends and I sat around for a little while and watched a few dancers walk by, but nothing tickled my fancy. My friend had a couple of private dances with one, but even he was underwhelmed.

Typically the Blue is better than this. I guess I've learned my lesson not to go too close to shift change. If you do, plan to stay a couple of hours as the dancers make their way in for the night. Otherwise, same old Blue: underwhelming decor, not-so-good bathrooms, but friendly folks running it for the most part.
