Island Tour

Stopped by this western OKC dive to see what all the fuss was about. Not a whole lot of parking available outside plus most of the empty spots had broken glass and/or needles. Hmmm...an inauspicious beginning to be sure.

Went in the door and paid the $5 cover to a tired-looking DJ and had my first look at the club. Gents, it ain't nuthin' fancy inside so don't expect deluxe accommodations. Cheap, hard chairs with old tables surrounding two stages, but at least the company was friendly so there's that. VIP area is a sorry raised area in the back of the club with little privacy if there's more than two patrons back there (which is almost always the case).

Had a few dances with an AA dancer with ultra-high mileage from the start. She made it pretty clear from the get go that anything and everything was on the table. After a few songs we both left the area much happier than when we went in and she gave me her digits and told me to call her when she got off (work) as she apparently wanted seconds from me.
