Pretty Good Club

Went here on a Wednesday night after work. Probably about 20 other customers in the bar. It's right down the street from a Winking Lizard, so I think some people might start out there and head over to Crazy Horse later. The physical layout of the club is pretty typical except for the second story. There's a big bar, the main stage surrounded by tables and some booths, and then a side area with a side stage and couch seating along the wall for dances. There was a $5 cover and the doorgirl asked to check my ID which was kind of silly because it's been . . . a long time since I was 21. Drink prices fairly routine for a club, $4-6 beer. There were two black girls, rest were white, most looked to be in their 20's. The four I spoke with all said they were students in different colleges, whether that's true or not I don't know. But none of them were zonked out or looked like druggies, which you sometimes see in clubs. I got a couple of $20 dollar dances in the side area, which were average contact but nothing special. Hints of more contact in the separate area they have on the second floor, but I didn't partake (and this place doesn't have a reputation for extras being available). There were a bunch of attendants/bouncers in suits which I guess was to give an impression of a fancier place, but they seemed a little out of place.
