Bring plenty of cash to this club.

Sapphires is billed as the world's largest gentlemen's club and based on the tour I received of the building I would say that they are probably right. The club is certainly impressive and that translates into a very expensive night if you stay longer than it takes to drink one bottle of expensive domestic beer! Parking is free but the cover charge is in line with the going Vegas rate $$$. I arrived shortly after 10 PM to find a smokey bar with only one side of the floor open for use. I can only imagine the air quality in this bar when it is operating near full capacity on a holiday weekend. The quality of the entertainment ranged from average to very good which did not surprise me too much even though the management charges the girls a fee to work at Sapphires. The table dances on the floor were more interesting than I expected them to be given the amount of contact that occurs back in the VIP rooms. Your mileage may vary but I would recommend a test drive out on the floor first before heading towards the VIP section for a more personal experience. I was good for about 90 minutes inside the bar before I started coughing on the cigarette smoke forcing an early departure. At some point the state of Nevada will catch up to Hawaii regarding indoor smoking and the effects of second hand smoke. For the amount of money they spent on the building I would have thought they would have acquired a better ventilation system. Overall it was a good experience but probably not worth the overall cost given the alternatives around town.
