Good Mid-Tier MidWest Club

This review is for a trip made in May. Cover was $10 I think. I'm sure there was a small cover, but I'm not sure how much it was.

Minx is in a building shared with an adult "bookshop." I don't know if you can walk directly between the two or if you have to go outside and walk around to get to the "books." The half with the ladies is pretty typical mid-tier strip clubbery. It has one big stage which pretty much always has a nude dancer on it (there is no actual stripping). It is much brighter than a typical club. The seats are slightly more comfy (just don't think about all the skeezy people who have sat there before you -- hint: I'm one of them). There are four TVs. While I was there (early evening on a Thursday) two of them had sports and two of them were playing relatively tame porno. That's just odd and maybe a little insulting to the dancers.

I was here just to throw back a couple of beers after a particularly unpleasant business trip. It is BYOB, so the beer was very good. There were only three other customers in the club (it was still early) so every dancer approached me. I know a lot of guys complain about the hustle, but I appreciate the approach and will tip if they sit. Ended up sitting with a really pretty girl completely disfigured by a giant tattoo on her chest. We talked while I drank. Every 30 seconds she gave a pitch for the VIP which is in a "skybox" that overlooks the main room. $100 for 10 minutes and $200 for 20 minutes if I remember correctly. For you OTC shoppers, chest tattoo didn't say anything but a stripper who stopped by later in the evening was definitely available (YMMV).
