Strip club in a dive bar

The gladiator has not been reviewed for 6 years and I was out this way on business, so I figured I'd check it out. It's a little dive bar in a town where the streets to roll up at 8pm. Upon entering, I saw a bar that was much like a small drive bar in your local city where the regulars come to get a beer after work. Definitely not a strip club. There was one pool table in the middle of the bar and apparently Wednesday nights are pool league nights. There were 4 couples there playing round robbin pool tournament for most of the 2 hours was there. They took up most of the space in the bar, leaving only the seats at the stage. Everyone there seemed much more interested in what was going on with the tournament than what was happening on stage.

Given the quality of the 2 dancers there, that was not surprising. Fortunately, along with being pool night, it was mother/ daughter dancing night! It was the first night for the girl, who had told her mom she wanted to try it out. She really had no interest in taking of her clothes, even with mama's encouragement. Mama was clearly a pro, and clearly messed up on something. She told me it was pot, but from the looks of her, I'm pretty sure it was something much more potent.

Anyway, had a beer, tipped a few dollars, and headed back to the hoteln understanding why there have been no reviews many years. This place is not worth the time, unless you want to stop in for a beer and maybe see what is happening in northern Minnesota.
