not a bad way to spend an evening
Since I wrote my first review of P10, I’ve been there about four additional times, and my opinion of the club has improved somewhat. On the positive side, it’s easy to look up coming events on the club’s website, and the club is definitely not rap (music) friendly. At the desk where you pay the entrance fee, you’ll notice a sign stating that gang colors and thug clothing aren’t allowed; but given the club’s location I can’t ever see that really being a problem. On the negative side, they do allow smoking; and if you visit the men’s room you’re pretty much obligated to tip the attendant every time.
In terms of physical layout, the only details I would add concern the VIP room and the private booths. The VIP room is huge. It’s the largest VIP room I’ve ever seen and basically like a club within a club. It has its own small stage, a bar, an ATM ($8 charge), I think it even has its own men’s room. The cost is $500 per year. Since P10 can get crowded at times, I can see the appeal in having access to this VIP room since the seating is more comfortable. As for the private booths, you can see them when exiting the VIP room. If you walk past the lap dance area that is immediately outside the VIP room, you will see six of them set against/near the far wall. The cost is $100 per hour for the booth, and $30 for each dance. So far I’ve only ever used the private booths with one dancer, but she’s my current favorite and the dances are worth every penny.
The thing about P10, is that while a lot of girls work there, the actual talent is pretty thin (in my opinion). The last time I was there, which was this past Saturday, there were only three girls that I wanted to talk to, and only one that I got dances from – and she wasn’t even a regular. She actually works (occasionally) at the Palazio, but happened to be visiting P10 that night (lucky me!). Other nights, all four of the girls that I usually get dances from have been working, To get an idea of the true talent at P10, I’d strongly suggest visiting on as many different nights as possible, and also visiting before 7 pm (dayshift with $7 cover) as well as after 7 pm (night shift with $15 cover).
