First visit to Lido Room

I read most of the existing reviews before visiting and found that the Lido Room is exactly as advertised. I went on a Wednesday evening to the Union Square location. The room was small, but I never felt overcrowded. It was definitely starting to pick up when I left around 10:30, but there were always plenty of girls around. I got dances from 4 different ladies and wasn't disappointed by any of them, although each experience was slightly different, with different mileage. Lots of touching, some stick shifting, and just overall good. As other reviewers have noted, this is a laid back, low pressure place. The girls are friendly, very pretty, and just follow your lead, even if that means sitting and chatting for awhile. Most of the girls are 7 and up. One 6, but she was cool and gave a good dance.

There is no stage, so everything is focused on interacting with the girls directly. The lap dance area is semi-private, but I never felt like I was out in the open and it provided plenty of extra scenery to look at during my dances. Most of the girls were Caucasian with a few Latina's in the mix. Dances were $20 for a full song, and every dancer waited until the start of the next song, which was nice. One heads up: the girls will just keep going from song to song without pausing to ask if you want to continue, so make sure you are paying attention. Not saying this is a bad thing, since I usually went 2-3 songs in a row anyway.

Overall, once of the best gentlemen's club experiences I have had. I have been to Flashdancers in NYC and prefer Lido, although to be fair, it is a very different experience so it all depends on what you are looking for. Looking forward to my next visit to NYC.
