This is not a review, just a heads up for fans of the day shift in Lexington. Deja Vu advertises that they're open at 2:00 on Saturdays, but when I showed up at 4:10 they said they were closed because they had no girls working. They said when school is out (Lexington is home to the University of Kentucky), it's really hard for them to get girls to work during the afternoon shift. I was told to come back at maybe 7:00 or 7:30.

This was actually a common theme. I was heading back east after being in Illinois for a few days, and I timed my drive to see what the day shifts were like at a few clubs in Lexington. Deja Vu, Spearmint Rhino, and Platinum Dolls all had totally dead afternoons and were not officially open, though there was someone at the door to deliver the bad news. One of the problems, I was told, is that the girls are all independent contractors, not employees. Because of that, the clubs here (at least some of them) let the girls decide their own schedules, so in the summer when the co-eds are gone, and the single moms want to take their kids to the pool on a sunny afternoon, they're not likely to come in to work. Lesson learned.
