Change in management?
So it's been a few months, but I found myself back at Talk of the Town again. I've described the club in previous reviews, but so I'm just going to point out what has changed. Walking through the adult bookstore there used to be a weird guy working behind the counter sketching in his book of art. Now there's a giant loud server humming away broadcasting the videos in the arcade (which I've actually never set foot in)
In the old days you'd walk back and hand the bartender a $20. These days there's a guy at little table that takes your money. There's still zero security or pat down, but the price is up to $25 now. Only five dollars difference but enough for me to second guess if it was worth it.
In the back there is still no drink hustle at all, but they've gotten strict about using cell phones. One thing I noticed was that there were a lot more girls this time!! Previous trips I've been shocked at how few girls were in rotation. This visit there were at least 12, maybe as many as 15.
A lot of familiar faces, some new. Some of the girls remembered me from previous trips. I didn't go VIP this time but the prices are unchanged. What is different is the upsell to the couches. (Chairs are $10 each, couches $20) It's important to know that the mileage has gone down considerably! Chair dances have some contact but not as much as in the past. I even got one total air dance from a dancer named Cordelia. That was a first for me at talk of the town! I did a few couch dances and the mileage was higher. Some old favorites of mine were playing by different rules now, so something has changed across the board.
Still fun, still grungy, still feels like a secret locals-only spot, just be prepared to spend a few more dollars than you used to here
