Nice Place But Overrated

My wife and I decided to visit Sapphire on a Saturday night and pre purchased the couples package that included VIP Entry, Limo, Table, and $150 booze; truthfully, this is a really good deal considering it is only $165. The drawback is you have to go during a time that they pick as they only let "groups" of people in every X hours. We wanted to go earlier and the only available time was 10:30pm which we made happen. The limo was on time, clean vehicle, nice driver... etc. The check in for the club was a little odd and kind of confusing. You are passed from one person to another to another. Along the way they scan your credit card and ID, along with taking pictures of your ID and card. It is a very odd and prolonged process which you are not sure of why and what is next. You have to re-explain yourself and what package you got to each person along the way and they all seem to do their own thing. Plus it is loud and hard to hear. The whole check in process was seriously like 20 minutes, not very VIP feeling to me. We got a decent table pretty close to the stage but that didn't matter as we would find out that they allow people just to stand in the walk way in front of us and surround the stage making it very hard to see. We asked a few times for our server to get the guys to move on that were blocking our view but the mob would just reform; this was annoying. What the VIP package doesn't say is that a gratuity would automatically be added to your bill no matter what. I'm find with that but it was clear at the start. The ladies there were all pretty attractive but most of them tend to stand against a wall together just "waiting" for something, not sure what. I'm amazed at how many clubs claim they are "couple friendly" but when it comes down to it the girls tend to avoid couples. I guess they feel threatened by the girl. Not sure. Overall I'd say this is a nice club with good looking dancers. Though, it is over priced, over-hyped, over complicated, and a bit too busy to enjoy.
