Little Darlings' name is half right - at least it's little

My brief trip to Little Darlings was probably the low point on my lifetime strip club experience. I'll be honest, it left me kind of depressed.

I was in town for one night, and decided to hit Lil D around 6:30pm because I had to be up early the next morning. I figured it could be slow at that time, but thought that since it was a Saturday maybe things wouldn't be too bad. When I arrived I was told that the cover was $22. There was no mention of the free soft drinks, but I had read that was the case, and I think it's true. Basically, the room kind of looks like a dirty version of a friend's basement. There are some chairs set up facing a small single stage, and then a bar behind the chairs. When I arrived, there was one girl on stage with her top off. She was caucasian and really skinny. I won't make assumptions about drug usage, but it did cross my mind. A guy was in the front row giving her a tip and looking at her salaciously. One other guy was quietly sitting in the second row.

She finished her dance and then came off stage. During the next 10 minutes or so there was no stage action. The hostess, dressed in unflattering (for her body) booty shorts methodically wiped the pole and mirror with paper towel, sticking her rather unattractive ass out towards the audience. During this time, the skinny girl from stage came over and sat in my lap, offering to "have some fun". I told her I had just arrived and was going to chill for a minute. She said that it was the day shift so there were only 3 girls working, and she would come back at the end of the rotation.
