PP

Platinum Plus has gotten a lot of poor reviews lately, but I had a pretty good visit this past Wednesday evening. I arrived around 10-ish and there it was a decent crowd. Not standing room only by any means, but the atmosphere was lively and probably 50% of the tables were taken.

I got a beer at the bar, which was I believe five dollars. I paid with a 20 and was pleasantly surprised to learn PP no longer gives change into dollar bills. Instead, I got all my change in ones. When I tip a girl on stage I generally tip at least $1, but I always resented PP trying to force me to tip $2 by giving me only $2 bills. A very good looking girl walked up to me while I was standing at the bar waiting to get a drink, and her first words were "would you like to buy me a drink?" I have no problem buying good looking dancers drinks, but I expect at least a minimal effort at friendliness first, so I just said no.

Like it sister club Platinum West, PP has no stools at the bar, so I found a table, sat down, and watched the stage show for a while. Dancers were rotating through all three stages, the main stage and two satellite stages. All of the dancers this evening looked pretty good. I would rate most ofthem in the 7 to 9 range, and there was a nice variety of shapes, sizes, and ethnicities.
