One thing that I've noticed over...

One thing that I've noticed over the years that I've been visiting the HiLiter is how there will occasionally be a dancer who is a centerfold for a major magazine, or a print, video, or internet "model" of some fame. Most of the time, they use an alias but, sometimes (like both a Hustler and Playboy model currently dancing at the HiLiter), it will be announced as part of their stage intro. This sort of thing happens all the time in LA, but this is the only club in Phoenix where I've noticed it. And, for every one that I recognize, there must be many more that I don't.

It's especially fun getting a $10 dance from one of these gorgeous women, knowing that they likely have a core group of fans who would do anything to get the same dance, if only they knew where they were (which is why I'll respect their privacy).

No, I'm not talking about someone as famous as Jenna Jameson, but rather someone whose career is on the rise (so to speak), or on the slide down. Sort of like the time I saw Denny McClain (all 300 pounds of him) pitch in a AAA game....but that's another story.
