Playmates

I read up on recent reviews in preparation for my trip to Miami. They indicated Playmates is a hit or miss type of place, but I think it's a hit based on my visit.

The club is in a very nice part of town, close to upscale hotels and offices. There is even a Ferrari dealership about a block away. The club is also pretty upscale and nice looking. I parked on the street and paid $3 for two hours of metered parking. Going in I noticed a sign at the door that said on site self parking was $3, so I should have done that and saved myself the short walk. The sign also said valet parking was $5, but I try to avoid valets if possible.

The cover charge was $8. The club looks very nice and upscale on the inside also. The bar is immediately to the left upon entry, the stage across the room to the right, private dance areas all the way in the back. There were probably 8 or 9 dancers sitting at the bar, and 8 or 9 heads swiveled my way when I entered. There were about another dozen sitting around at tables, a few with customers, most sitting with other girls. All of them looked pretty good, all 7s to 9s in my book, and they outnumbered the customers at least 3 to 1. I liked that ratio. Several looked like they were trying to eye fuck me as I made my way to an open seat at the bar, but I didn't try to engage with any as I wanted to just get a drink and survey the scene for a bit first.
