Stopped in the other afternoon to check out the new place on the Block. I tried the bottem bar for about 1 minute. Looked like most places in the area, long bar along one wall. There where 3 girls working and no customers. I could feel the money getting sucked out of my pockets. I exited and headed up stairs. This is a different layout. The place is small with a square bar dominated by the stage in the middle. The decor has an industrial look to it. There are a couple of TVs in the corners. There is a small couch area at the top of the stairs and bar stools along one wall. A few other customers was enough to make me want to stay. I declined buying drinks for the 2 dancers than came over as I sat down. I wanted to see what was happening in the club. From what I saw, very little. The board showed 6 dancers. None where sitting with customers. As they came off stage and walked around for tips, all where friendly and asked if I wanted company. The entire place seemed to lack any real excitement or energy. Even the bartender was playing video games. It could have been a bad day. I might try it again in the future.
