Interesting Experience

This area is dominated by prostitutes and beggars working the streets. Parking along the curbs can be tough to find. I fed the meter, grabbed a sandwich at subway just down the street, and then headed towards the block. There are multiple clubs within a block or two. Bouncers stand outside and recruit customers to come inside. Sometimes girls solicit guys outside as well. I had never been to Diamonds but was approached by a decent looking brunette outside. She wasn't shy at all about letting me know about the full menu and back rooms. I went inside, grabbed a beer, and we went to the back. They have a long stage along one wall with a bar facing the stage. Girls ask for tips after being on stage. Quality of club and girls is lacking somewhat. The back room is a place where many off duty girls hang and sleep. They were booted out and we went in. Room looks like a place where drug addicts go to do their thing. Old, run down, poor repair. This girl was obviously desperate for a few bucks to feed her habit. I made her a low ball offer, she accepted and went to work. No air flow, room gets stuffy quickly. I quit 20 minutes in because room got too hot, needed air. I left not fully satisfied, but it was ok since I didn't spend much. I could have had any number of girls on the street. But I decided to just head back to hotel and call it a night. Overall, neighborhood is questionable, with prostitutes and homeless, but I was ok. Cheap thrills available but just be careful and stay aware of surroundings.
