Standard Trip to the Palomino

I was at the Palomino this past weekend, although parts of this review could probably describe any number of visits over the past few months. I will start almost at the conclusion by saying that the Palomino is my favorite club in Las Vegas.

On this particular visit, I flew in, dropped my bag off at the hotel, then cabbed over directly to the club. I paid the $30 cover, which has been standard no matter which night I seem to show up. As others have stated, you can get around the cover here and at other Vegas clubs by calling the club and having their free limo pick you up. You would save the cover, and the cost of the taxi, but I've always been under the impression they would at least like there to be two patrons, and I was flying solo on this particular trip.

After I paid the cover, I stopped by the restroom real quick to stock up on mints and whatnots from my favorite restroom attendant, Manny, and spotted him a $20, which is more than enough to get yourself some great post-dance service for the rest of the night, ie. mints, gum, candy, cologne, cigars and soap to wash off your hands from whatever you've been doing. I just really like that guy, so I take care of him.
